The Domain
DOMAINE BURGUET produces Burgundy wines in a number of appellations, whose names are sure to ring a bell with lovers of fine wines. Located in Gevrey-Chambertin, it comprises plots of varying size, worked with respect for the soil and the vines, where Pinot noir, Aligoté and Chardonnay excel in renowned appellations.
Nicolas Burguet, independent winegrower, knows how to leave his mark on the cultivation of his vines and the ageing of his various cuvées. A minimum of intervention, with no insecticides or rot killers, constant monitoring of the vines at all stages of development of shoots, foliage and grapes, strict sorting of the logs after manual harvesting, continuous tasting of the grape juice at the crucial moment when it becomes wine, careful ageing to market his productions at the best time: everything is done to obtain high quality wines with a very personal signature.
For Pinot noir red wines: Gevrey-Chambertin Les Crais, Fixin, Bourgogne vieilles vignes, Bourgogne Les Prielles, Marsannay Les Champs Perdrix.
For white wines: Bourgogne Aligoté and Marsannay Les Champs Perdrix in Chardonnay.
And let's not forget Marsannay Rosé, which will always be remembered by wine-lovers who have had the good idea of storing a few bottles in their cellar...
Come and discover the fine wines produced by Nicolas BURGUET during a tasting session scheduled simply by telephone. The winemaker is as welcoming in his cellar as he is rigorous in the management of his estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, one of the highlights of the Côte de Nuits, south of Dijon.
